Dog Itchy Skin Problems

Changing a season from hot to cold can cause illness not only to human skin but also impact to animals such as dogs. Seasonal changes also cause behavioral changes in dogs that are constantly scratching, biting and licking their fur.

In the winter, the skin will a little bit dry therefore we need extra care to keep skin moist and healthy looking. As with humans, dogs also should be given extra care to prevent dry dog skin that would occur on the skin of dogs.

When your dog is in dry skin, do itchy skin is easy to attack to your dog’s body. Itchy attacks the skin in your dog with a red mark and irritation in some parts of your dog’s body.

Dog itchy skin can also cause your dog’s hair fall out and cuts in several parts of his body. If this happens, you must bring your dog to the vet. Your dog might just be allergic to fleas in his fur or allergic to something in your house.

It is important for you to cleanse your dog’s body by bathing your dog regularly. Use a special shampoo for dogs that contains moisture, as moisture-containing shampoo can eliminate existing fleas on the dog’s fur and reduces itchiness in your dog’s skin.
